Kate Bell

Kate Bell is our People Director and sits on the Executive Team. She leads on all HR and People Development matters, supporting colleagues throughout the firm.

Having joined us as a Trainee and progressed to Director, Kate is ideally suited to lead training and development across the firm and holds a unique position within Rickard Luckin. She passionately believes in building a workplace culture that inspires team members to fulfil their potential, whether that involves providing the solid foundation and work experience platform required to support our trainees in their initial training to qualification or supporting colleagues looking to continue their career progression further and through specialist fields.

Alongside her responsibilities as People Director, Kate is also a Chartered Accountant (FCA) with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW) and Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) with the Chartered Institute of Tax (CIOT) with over 20 years’ experience in supporting clients.

Kate continues to work with a portfolio of clients which is predominantly focused around academies and legal sectors, as well as a number of owner managed businesses.

Outside of the office, Kate enjoys hockey and is a long-standing playing member of Southend Hockey Club. She is also qualified as a coach and umpire with England Hockey and volunteers at Southend HC to support the development of players and hockey club generally. Additionally, Kate enjoys swimming and spending time with her friends and family.
