Kate Bell is our Managing Director and leads the Executive Team with vision, energy, and a deep commitment to excellence.
Kate’s journey with the firm began in 1998 as a Trainee. Since then, she has qualified as both a Chartered Accountant (ACA) and Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA), quickly progressing through management roles to become a Partner in 2006. Her career is a testament to dedication, expertise, and a genuine passion for client service.
With over 25 years of experience advising clients, Kate brings a wealth of insight and a sharp understanding of what truly matters to the organisations we support. Her leadership is grounded in empathy and innovation, shaped by her five-year tenure as People Director, a role that reflects her unwavering commitment to nurturing talent and fostering a positive, high-performing culture.
Kate is deeply passionate about our firm, our clients, and our team. She brings boundless energy to exploring new ideas, driving innovation, and elevating every aspect of our work and values. Her leadership style is inclusive, forward-thinking, and rooted in a belief that people are at the heart of everything we do.
Alongside her role as MD, Kate continues to work closely with a portfolio of clients, particularly within the academy and legal sectors, as well as a range of owner-managed businesses.
Outside of work, Kate is an active member of Southend Hockey Club, where she plays, coaches, and umpires. Her involvement with hockey and her volunteer work reflect the same dedication and team spirit she brings to her professional life. She also enjoys swimming and spending quality time with her family and friends.
