Amit Popat is a Director within the Audit & Accounts Team and works with a range of businesses from growing family firms, through to medium / large businesses.
Amit’s main specialisms lie in statutory audit and financial reporting. He also has experience in dealing with group reconstructions and works closely alongside fellow Directors, Associates and Managers in the team to ensure delivery of an excellent service for his clients.
Clients have commented that Amit is passionate about the service he provides and that he always responds and delivers in a timely manner. His clients value the support and advice that he provides them.
Amit joined us in 2006, and has a wealth of experience providing support to help his clients grow and achieve their aims. Where appropriate, he is able to provide further benefit by utilizing specialists across the firm and through our professional contacts.
Aside from his time working with clients, Amit is one of our Responsible Individuals (RIs), a member of the firm’s Technical Team and part of the wider leadership team. He enjoys the role of being a RI and is also responsible for enhancing our audit service and internal training, setting high standards for his team.
Amit is a member of ICAEW (the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales) and holds a degree in business studies. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, listening to music and watching movies, as well as supporting a well-known (and successful) football team.
