As we continue to recruit talented people to build and strengthen our team for the future, we are pleased to announce our ‘Class of 2022’, which this year consists of an impressive 10 students.
To continue the specialist service we provide for our clients, our new student intake has seen Charlie Seagrave, Louise Caldon, Rob Thresher, Tom Clow, Luke Robinson, Joe Corrigan, Jack Hutchins, Fiona Walton, Jodie Chong and Sam Mayers all start their career journeys with us.
We have built a very special culture over many years by staying true to our core values of Passionate, Personal and Professional, and our recent recognition by Best Companies as being one of the best medium-sized companies to work for in the UK stands us in good stead as we continue to invest in improving the employee experience. Our goal is to make Rickard Luckin the employer of choice for those looking to start or develop their career in a progressive and forward-looking firm of accountants and tax advisers.
We are looking forward to watching our class of 2022 develop and grow, and excited about what they can bring to Rickard Luckin as we continue to drive our organisation forward and help our clients to realise their potential and achieve their aims. The desire to offer our clients an extensive range of knowledge and expertise is the reason behind our continuous drive to invite the very best people to join our team, and with that we welcome our class of 2022 to the Rickard Luckin family.
Find out a little more about our new starters:
Charlie Seagrave is an Audit and Accounts Trainee - “ I chose to study with Rickard Luckin as I believe it will be the best company to allow me to both develop and apply my accounting knowledge in the real world. ”
Louise Caldon is an Audit and Accounts Trainee - “ The reason I chose to join Rickard Luckin was primarily because of the opportunity that it provided in being able to learn everything from the very beginning, and being someone who hasn't done any work in this field before, this was very appealing. I also wanted to have a change from things that I had done before and start a new career. ”
Rob Thresher joins us as a Tax Trainee - “ I can’t wait to get started. I am in need of a career change, hence joining Rickard Luckin. The thing that really attracted me to Rickard Luckin was the progression and training opportunities, and then the welcoming and friendly atmosphere. I’m excited for this new challenge. ”
Tom Clow joins us as an Audit and Accounts Trainee - “ Coming from a non-accounting background, I chose to study with Rickard Luckin because of its fantastic reputation as a training firm, which was massively important to me in my journey. Furthermore, the office has a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere and with the progression opportunities laid out so clearly from day one, Rickard Luckin feels like a great place to be! ”
Luke Robinson is an Audit and Accounts Trainee - “ Last summer I enjoyed a two-week work placement with Rickard Luckin’s Marketing Team and I was blown away by the support of the RL family. I am really excited to start studying with Rickard Luckin and officially joining such a vibrant company which has a long history of successful students becoming chartered and progressing through the firm. ”
Joe Corrigan is an Audit and Accounts Trainee - “ I chose to join Rickard Luckin because of the fantastic study support and a great learning environment. ”
Jack Hutchins is an Audit and Accounts Trainee - “ I chose to apply at Rickard Luckin due to the opportunity to further my studies in such a welcoming environment, surrounded by so many supportive and encouraging people. I find that the privilege of working for company that constantly challenges itself to improve both in terms of the education it provides and the wellbeing of its staff was something I could not overlook; especially due to the high recommendations I received from existing staff members. ”
Fiona Walton joins us as an Audit and Accounts Trainee - “ I chose Rickard Luckin because I heard such great things about the student program and great atmosphere here. The enthusiasm and support is really clear to see with everyone here. ”
Sam Mayers joins us as an Audit and Accounts Trainee - “ I am excited to be joining the Accounts Team, having already been working here for five months as a Company Secretarial Team Assistant. Having studied AAT Level 3 in the past, I found I enjoyed learning about various accounting processes and I am looking forward to furthering my knowledge by studying ACA. I have enjoyed my time here at Rickard Luckin so far and I am excited for my future within the firm. ”
Jodie Chong is an Audit and Accounts Trainee - “ Having already worked as a payroll processor at RL for the past year, I am very excited to become an ACA student. I can’t wait to be learning from different people and expanding my knowledge in audit and accounts. I chose to study at RL because I like how there is a flat structure in the firm. I feel like I can ask anyone questions no matter what position they are in. I know I will be supported throughout my studies and I am very excited for the next few years ahead. ” |
